Terms and Conditions

 

These are the terms and conditions under which COR Shop (I,we, Us) supplies furniture and home accessory products (the "Product") or services ("Services'")  to you (the "Customer" or "you").

Customers should ensure they read these terms and conditions prior to placing an order. Please note by placing an order for any Product or Service from us you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Order Process
Once a Customer places an order with COR Shop, the Customer will receive an email receipt to acknowledge from sales@cor-shop.com confirming we have received your order and payment.

 

2. Description of goods
We aim to describe items as fully as possible, to the best of our knowledge, providing as much history, age and detail as is known to us together with a full description. It should be noted that the items that we are selling are artisanal, unique or handmade items and as such, may in some cases have some signs or marks.

We cannot guarantee that colours will be rendered correctly on different computer monitors. Any of the product dimensions that we supply are for guide purposes only and are intended to give an approximate indication of size.

 

3. Electrical products
We recommend that all electrical goods are inspected, tested, certified and installed by a qualified electrician. We will not be liable for any loss, injury or death caused by electrical goods that have not been inspected, tested and certified by a qualified electrician

4. Refund Policy
If your purchase does not fufill your requirements we can at times provide a full refund of the purchase price (excluding all transportation costs and an administration fee), providing the item is returned to us in it's original condition, and within fourteen days of your receipt of it. The return courier and costs are the customer’s responsibility.

 

5. Shipping
Smaller items will be packaged and dispatched within 3 days of ordering. These items are shipped, fully insured. In some cases, a signature will be required upon delivery.

 

We can arrange delivery for larger items using a reliable courier. The courier will be responsible for the insurance whilst items are in transit.  Delivery  quoted is 'kerb-side only' and the Customer is responsible for arranging appropriate transfer into their property.

 

For international DHL delivery and when applicable, the customer is responsible for checking the box upon delivery and signing the courier’s form as “damaged box” if it is the case.

 

It is imperative that you notify us within 24hrs of receipt, if the goods delivered to you are not the correct items, or are defective or damaged. Otherwise, we shall accept no liability. We will also require photographs sending of the item, the packaging and the shipping label.

6. Duties and taxes
For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be liable for any export or import duties, taxes etc. arising as a result of the items being sent outside the United Kingdom.

7. Liability
COR Shop liability for losses is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Customer for a Product or Service. Neither COR Shop nor any affiliate or other representative will be liable for any loss, damage or expense or personal injury arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services offered through this website including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of data, income, profit or opportunity, loss or damage to property, personal injury and claims by third parties, even if  COR Shop has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage and/or such loss or damage were reasonably foreseeable.

 

8. Ordering 
Once you have submitted your order online an email acknowledgment will be sent. Please note that this email is not an order acceptance from us and at this stage, no contract has yet been formed between us.

 

Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email, constituting a formal acceptance of your order; this forms a binding contract between us.

 

Subject to availability, we will aim to dispatch your order within 7 days of its receipt and once payment has been approved. If you need an item more urgently, we are happy to assist.

 

9. Price
Prices and offers may vary and may only be available for limited periods. All prices and offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at our discretion. The prices on the Website may differ to prices in our retail stores, catalogues or elsewhere.

 

The Website contains a large number of goods and it is possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the goods listed on the Website may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible. We will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.

 

The Seller is under no obligation to sell incorrectly priced goods to you at the incorrect price. If we are unable to supply the goods you have ordered at the price or conditions shown, we will notify you as soon as possible.

 

10. Payment 
Our prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling and payment can only be accepted in British Pounds Sterling. At the time of publication all our prices are correct; goods are charged at the price shown on the website at the time an order is placed. All prices are displayed excluding VAT. All taxes, where applicable, are calculated and communicated via e-mail. Payments are accepted via bank transfer or Paypal link.
